Digital Media Intern (September, 2021 - June, 2022)
Produced digital content for both the Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery (@sesnon.gallery) and the student gallery space, the Sesnon Underground (@sensonunderground), including a series of reels and promotional graphics. Curated student exhibitions and showcases including, Homecoming, Don’t Forget About Art, the inaugural Sesnon Underground Film Festival and student screening series. Archival work on the gallery’s legacy media collection.

Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH), Santa Cruz, CA
Production Intern, Frequency Digital Arts Festival (June - September, 2021)
I worked with museum staff and fellow interns to promote and train art ambassadors for the MAH’s inaugural digital arts festival, Frequency. Part of my tasks included hosting a virtual orientation for the volunteers, creating an informational zine about the pieces in the festival, coordinating volunteers and facilitating onsite audience engagement.
Marketing Intern (January, 2020 - June, 2021)
My main project as the MAH’s Marketing Intern was running the museum’s Twitter account. During my tenure I brought the account’s (@santacruzmah) followers from below 4,400 to over 5,000 in eight months. I also initiated the #HistoryFunFacts Twitter campaign which incorporated historic photographs from the MAH’s archive and recontextualizes them for the Twitter audience.
Okinawa Memories Initiative (OMI), Humanities Division, UC Santa Cruz
Events Team Leader January, 2020 - June, 2022
Working with a team of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as UC Santa Cruz faculty, I produced a series of events centered around post-war Okinawa history and culture including author talks, roundtable discussions, and anniversary events.
Exhibition Team December, 2018 - August, 2019
During the UCSC Spring Quarter of 2019 I participated in an independent study project with Professor Noriko Aso and a group of other students to survey and curate a selection of photographs taken in Okinawa, Japan by Charles Gail during the period of the 1950’s. The final collection was exhibited in a series of traveling exhibitions in Okinawa, Japan and Gardena, California in the summer of 2019.

Served as a Cowell Senator for 3 years, represented Cowell College on the CORE Funding Body and Student Union Assembly, Chair of the Gift Committee, oversaw the redesign of the Senate offices (Cowell 135) in Spring 2019, worked with fellow senators to allocate students funds to campus organizations, and designed the Senate sweatshirt in Spring 2021.
